Mormon mother. Mary Walton Russell was born April 17, 1811 to John Walton and Ann Millican Walton in England. She was raised in Canada by the Jarvis family. She married Isaac Russell in 1829 and moved to Missouri, where her husband died in 1844. She died in Salt Lake City, Utah on May 2, 1864.
